Identification:
African Sigillata 4 Form 1 Hayes 45A large bowl.
Description:
Fragment preserving portion of rim. Four rows of chattering decoration on upper surface of rim.
Red (10R 5/6) body, with glossy light red/red (10R5.5/7) slip on both surfaces.
Micromophology: Surfaces smooth and compact.
Use alteration: Exterior: Slip lightly abraded on angles of facets on outer/lower face rim.
