African Sigillata 1 Form 18
Identification:
Closed form.
Description:
Closed form with slightly flaring neck with eccentric rim (rim with spout?) with slight thickening on exterior. Glossy slip on exterior and interior upper wall.
Probably trilobate pitcher, with slip on exterior and upper portion of interior. Context and fabric suggest that African Sigillata Base 5 may be base to this form.
