Arlene Vespa
Arlene Vespa is a Registered Architect in the States of Illinois and Oregon who has worked on the staff of the Palatine East Pottery Project as an Object Illustrator during various study seasons since 1994.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Library and Information Science, all from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her current position as Visiting Capital Construction Project Manager for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign draws upon an architectural career thus far spent developing expertise in academic building types. Current projects include over $52 million dollars in major renovation/addition work on the Illinois Street Residence Dining Hall facility. When complete, the dining facility will be the second largest dining facility in the country in terms of meals served, surpassed only by the Air Force Academy facility in Colorado.
Ms. Vespa is a Certified Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) with the Construction Specifications Institute, maintains a current certificate with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is a LEED Accredited Professional with the Green Business Certification, Inc.
